About Builds Bio+

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership-driven organization, Builds Bio+ is dedicated to bringing the life sciences innovation community together. It serves as the go-to resource for information and assistance in growing, building, and locating life science companies within major industry clusters.

Role Overview

The Integration of Life Sciences Committee focuses on bridging the information gap between Life Science, Healthcare, and Commercial Tech.  These 3 divisions of advanced technological industries don't often interact although their day to day procedures, lab spaces, and design/construction processes share many of the same ideas.  Through information sharing and collaboration between subject matter experts, institutional partners, real estate developers, and lab users this group aims to facilitate the sharing of new technological advancements that can aid all advanced tech industries.  We hope to start a dialogue between teams that operate within the same space without visibility into the advancements of their peers. 

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead committee meetings.
• Develop initiatives to connect institutions with real estate and life sciences companies.
• Support programming, research, and networking opportunities.
• Work with NYM Builds Bio+ leadership to promote institutional collaboration.
• Facilitate member engagement and industry discussions.
• Add position to your LinkedIn Profile

Qualifications

• Builds Bio+ member in good standing.
• Passion for leadership and fostering collaboration.
• Reliable and able to commit time to committee initiatives.
• Experience in academia, healthcare, real estate, or life sciences is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
