A 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership-driven organization, Builds Bio+ is dedicated to bringing the life sciences innovation community together. It serves as the go-to resource for information and assistance in growing, building, and locating life science companies within major industry clusters.

Role Overview

The Workforce Development Committee is dedicated to building talent pipelines for life sciences in the NY Metro area. The Chair and Co-Chair will create initiatives to support workforce training, career development, and industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to connect students and professionals with life sciences careers.
• Organize educational and networking events.
• Collaborate with academic institutions, industry leaders, and community organizations.
• Promote workforce diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Identify talent needs and training opportunities.

• Builds Bio+ member in good standing.
• Passion for workforce development and career advancement.
• Reliable and proactive in leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in education, HR, or workforce training preferred.
• Strong networking and mentorship skills.
