Role Overview

The Life Sciences Labs and Sustainability Committee focuses on advancing lab development, optimizing lab spaces, and promoting sustainable practices in the NY Metro life sciences ecosystem. The Chair and Co-Chair will lead discussions on best practices, trends, and improvements in lab infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions on lab design, operations, and sustainability.
• Identify and share best practices in laboratory development.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and sustainability experts.
• Promote environmentally responsible and energy-efficient lab solutions.
• Support knowledge-sharing and educational initiatives.

• Builds Bio+ member in good standing.
• Passion for lab innovation and sustainability.
• Reliable and proactive in committee leadership.
• Experience in lab design, engineering, or sustainability preferred.
• Strong industry connections and leadership abilities.
